Faith Formation Classes

Chosen

Take a look at the curriculum, the Chosen program!

We are proud to be using the Chosen program.  This series is written by Chris Stefanik and Ron Bolster and presented by nationally known Catholic speakers like Jackie Angel, Chris Padgett, Jason Evert, Leah Darrow and Fr. Mike Schmiltz.  Filmed in over fifty locations, you are never bored as the Catholic faith is presented in a way seldom seen before.  Along with videos, small group discussions take place on the topic of the night.

For more information, please visit ConfirmationStudy.com

All high school students should be enrolled in Faith Formation Classes to enhance their spiritual journey through high school. We have an exciting curriculum for youth ministry; with classes held Sunday evenings is part of our two year Confirmation Preparation.

All classes  will be held at St. Michael’s Church. This is to put us in compliance with guidelines established by the Diocese of San Diego and to accommodate our teachers, facilitators, and students. Classes will be held in the Parish Center, the Ministry Center, and in the Holy Family Center. The students preparing for Confirmation will be placed into small ministry groups with a Young Adult/Adult Volunteer who will facilitate their Faith Formation.

Calling ALL Juniors and Seniors!!

The Bridge Program (also known as “The Living Room”)

Congratulations on Confirmation! Now that you’ve received those graces, it’s time for you to begin your faith journey towards becoming a young adult. You have already begun to form adult questions that demand adult answers, and that process will continue as you prepare for college.  The good news? The Living Room is designed with exactly that in mind! Our team of faithful, well-educated, and cool Young Adult catechists is ready to answer your questions and help you live an authentically Catholic life! We meet twice per month – Wednesday evening and one Saturday morning – to discuss things like what it means to be human, made in God’s image and likeness (Theology of the Body), politics (Catholic social teaching), and some of the confusing and frequently misunderstood elements of our faith (How do we know God exists? What if I don’t feel God’s presence anymore? Do I have to interpret the Bible literally?). Registration is free, but required, so please submit the form below and contact Bridget Lynch ( This email address is being protected from spambots.
