Welcome to our link from Haiti!
The focus of our Religious Education sharing is with our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Father Granjean is the pastor of the parish we are supporting, St. Antoine’s. In addition, funds are directed to a wonderful school in Petite Rivere’, which prepares students for higher education.
Here is Father Granjean's audio message recorded on his last visit.
He teaches us the Sign of the Cross in his Haitian language and gives us a very special blessing.
It may not seem like much, but Father Granjean’s request is for each person in the family to sacrifice one Coca Cola person each week and donate what they sacrificed to the American Haitian Foundation to help these Haitian children and families.
Personally, after a visit to Haiti in February of 2007, I could see the Hand of God in this country’s poorest of the poor. They have great hope. It never ceases. They never have time to stop praying! We are their hope!
Each month we collect money sent in from our children and their families. It is sent directly to the foundation which was set up especially to help Father Granjean’s parish, school and the community around him. The foundation is called “The American Haitian Foundation.” The money is wired each month to Father Granjean for our brothers and sisters in Christ. There is a budget and accountability.
If you are at all moved to help support Father Granjean and his parish, please make your check out to “AHF” and send it to the:
